Parts Of Computer

   What Is CPU (Central Processing Unit)?
è The Control Unit (CU) and the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) of a computer system are jointly known as the CPU.
è It is the brain of any computer system.
è All calculations and comparisons are made inside the CPU and the CPU is also responsible for activation and controlling operations of other units of a computer system.
è The major sections of a CPU are
a)      Arithmetic and Logic Unit (ALU).
b)      Timing and Control Unit.
c)      Accumulator, General and Special Purpose Registers.
